LEDs lack product pricing rights. Domestic LED companies are small in scale and industrial resources are scattered. Core chips, especially high-power LED chips, mainly rely on imports from abroad. A single small and medium-sized manufacturer can only import high-priced chips from abroad, resulting in a low bargaining power, which keeps costs high. For a single family, the energy-saving performance of LED lamps is not obvious, and it does not save much money. Moreover, LED lamps are three times more expensive than ordinary lamps, and it is also a problem for ordinary people to bear.
Lack of brand awareness LED companies have a large number of companies, mixed products, products are not in the same order, there is no independent brand, resulting in some patents being stolen, infringements have occurred frequently.
LED home road has a long way to go
According to a report issued by the relevant departments of Guangdong Province, LED companies in the United States, Japan and Europe have more than 80% of the core technology patents of LED chips, while domestic similar enterprises have less than 10% of similar patents. For a long time, the core basic technology of LED upstream epitaxial wafer and chip market has been monopolized by several foreign industry giants such as Nichia, Toyota Synthetic, CREE , Osram, etc., occupying 70% of the output value of the entire industrial chain, which also makes China's LED industry chain. The structure is very unreasonable.
