The world's highest ultrahigh voltage cable tower is put into operation

On November 20th, the Yichang Federal Cable EHV Cable Ladder Production Line was formally put into production. The city has added another landmark building, and it has also promoted the development of the Federal Cable Company's goal to become the world leader in ultra-high voltage cables.

It is understood that in the production process of ultra-high voltage cables, the weight of ultra-high voltage cables per meter will reach 200 kilograms. If it is produced in an ordinary factory, it is easy to cause the core of the cable not to be on a horizontal line due to the influence of gravity, thus affecting the product quality. . To this end, Federal Cable Corporation invested 1 billion yuan to build a 180-meter super-ultra high-voltage cable vertical production plant. This tower is equivalent to the height of a 64-story residential building, and it is the same height as the "Twin Towers" of the Shanghai Bund International Financial Service Center. It is the world's highest vertical production line for EHV cables.

This workshop not only created the world's cable industry's first height, but its production scale and technical content are also second to none. From 2002, China developed and produced the first 500 kV EHV cable in China. The Federal Cable relied on scientific and technological innovation to continuously break foreign technology monopolies. With the official launch of the ultrahigh-voltage cable tower production line, the Federal Cable will become another company in the city with annual sales revenue of over 10 billion yuan.
