After the ceremony, all participants also visited the new company's manufacturing plant.

According to reports, the new company’s registered capital of US$15 million will further strengthen the company’s focus on energy efficiency, mobility and safety. The new company mainly has the functions of sales, marketing, technical analysis, applied engineering research and development, and assisted localization. At the same time, it has a 1,500-square-meter manufacturing facility that specializes in the production of IGBT components. In the next three years, the number of new company employees is expected to exceed 100.

China is also accelerating its equipment upgrades. As the German ambassador to China said, China is currently focusing on innovation in the areas of energy, environmental protection, and automotive, and is striving to become an innovative society by 2020. Energy-saving semiconductor technology is the core business of Infineon. Infineon has increased investment in China to fully meet the direction and demand of the Chinese market.
