EPS (Emergency Power Supply) is an emergency power supply. It can provide emergency power supply equipment for fire-fighting equipment, municipal facilities, medical care, enterprises, factories, or other equipment when the mains grid fails. Compared with the traditional standby generator set emergency power supply, EPS has obvious advantages in terms of starting speed, noise and vibration, maintainability, power supply quality, overload capability, self-protection characteristics and environmental pollution.
EPS is divided into three general types according to the type of load: lighting type, power type and lighting power mixing type. The corresponding loads are lighting load, motor load (fire pump, etc.) and lighting and motor mixed load.
