The leading Korean LED maker has signed further distribution agreements with Avnet covering major lighting markets. Seoul and Silica LED manufacturer Seoul Semiconductor has signed European and Asian distribution agreements with Avnet Electronics Marketing, a division of Avnet Inc, to expand and reinforce its sales network.
The agreements followed an announcement made in January for Avnet to distribute Seoul Semiconductor's products in the North American market (see - Seoul Semiconductor and Avnet sign distribution agreement ).
The benefits provide Seoul Semiconductors customers with solution-centered support and quicker delivery via Avnets inventory. As well as main LED products, Avnet will provide technical support services that will enable the integration of Seoul Semiconductor's technology into customers' actual applications, saving time and money Miguel Fernandez, president of Silica, a division of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, said: "Seoul Semiconductor's broad range of advanced LED technology will revolutionize many segments of the lighting industry and is therefore a valuable addition to our existing portfolio."
