So far, due to technical limitations and obstacles, the maximum resolution of images on the VR mobile side is 4 K (4,096 pixels). The InstaVR shows that its 3D Cubemap technology will achieve an image resolution of 48K (49,152 pixels), which is 12 times the resolution of the original 4K image.
In addition, InstaVR has decided to combine the new technology with Autodesk's products. By working together, you can create a high-definition VR app using 3DCG in just 5 minutes. It is understood that InstaVR is a development platform based on web to help VR developers quickly generate multiple formats. The company received an investment of about 200 million yen (about 13 million yuan) in August 2016.
