Two-layer reflection allows the LED lighting range to be comparable to incandescent bulbs

Panasonic has introduced a new line of LED lighting "EVERLEDS" series - LED light bulb with an angle of 300 ° and E26 lamp (Figure 1). Since the new product has the same degree of light distribution as the incandescent light bulb, the same lighting effect as the incandescent light bulb can be obtained even if it is difficult to change the lighting use of the LED light bulb due to the small illumination range.

The biggest feature of this LED bulb is that a small number of small light sources ( LED packages ) are arranged in a ring shape in the lampshade (hemispherical lampshade), and a reflective plate with an opening and a reflector without an opening are provided above it. Reflector (Figures 2, 3).

Note: Light is reflected by the first reflector to the direction of the lamp head and reflected by the second reflector to the side direction. Straight light diffuses on the resin lampshade. This gives a large light distribution angle.

Note: The central portion of the LED package in a ring configuration has a relatively low temperature, so it is equipped with heat-resistant electronic components. The height of the aluminum alloy casing of the new product is lower than that of the original product, and the heat dissipation area is reduced.
