Economic turnover Taiwan IC output value fears to expand

The international market was recently affected by the US-European debt issue, and the market's view on the global economic sentiment has led to a shrinking demand in the electronic industry's terminal market. This has also allowed the Institute of Industrial Technology and Industrial Trends (IEK) to go downstairs again this year in Taiwan. The output value of the IC industry reached NT$1,521.14 billion, which is expected to be 11.3% lower than last year. According to a study by the IEK Semiconductor Research Department, Taiwan’s IC output in the second quarter has stopped falling, but it was only due to market adjustments in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, due to doubts in the international market, it is expected that the output value of Taiwan’s IC industry will further decline. Faced with the prosperous season, the IC manufacturing industry is the worst fear.
