Renesas Electronics Co., Ltd. recently released a high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor (RAA462113FYL) for 4K cameras with a resolution of 8.48 million. Together with the 2.12 megapixel product that has been put into mass production, Renesas Electronics offers comprehensive sales support for its high-end CMOS image sensors for network cameras.
In order to meet the growing demand for network cameras from financial institutions, transportation systems, and commercial organizations, the new CMOS image sensors have the ability to capture images in different environments to meet the needs of high-end devices and system performance.

This new sensor captures clear, high-visibility full-color images in the moonlight.
High speed, high resolution
Thanks to the highly reliable 4K video sampling at 60fps, this new sensor captures sharp, high-visibility images even in digital zoom situations.
High dynamic range
The new sensor supports a progressive high dynamic range mode that outputs long exposure and short exposure data in separate lines. Capture images perfectly even in high-contrast scenes.
Time to market
Samples of RAA462113FYL are currently available and production is expected to begin in December 2017 (time to market is subject to change without notice)
