Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Imports Double-digit Growth for 3 Months

According to Taiwan's "Central News Agency" report, Taiwan's "Treasury Department Statistics Department" said that in August semiconductor production equipment imports amounted to 1.23 billion US dollars, an increase of 25.9%, is even a three-month positive double-digit growth. The main reason is that semiconductor companies actively expanded their advanced process investment in 2015. The “Statistical Office” stated that from the perspective of continuous growth in the import of semiconductor production equipment, companies are already preparing for the expansion of production capacity in the future, which is a good phenomenon.
