Western Digital official statement: China's hard drive continues for three years warranty

Recently, foreign media reported that Western Digital is preparing to shorten the warranty period for some of its hard drives from three years to two years, including 3.5-inch green, blue, and 2.5-inch blue disks, while black disks and external/movable disks are not affected. . In response, Western Digital specifically sent an official statement to us saying that it will continue to pursue its localization service strategy in China and maintain its original product warranty promises. That is, the 3.5-inch green and blue disk will still be three years and the black disk will still be five years.

However, Western Digital did not mention whether the 2.5-inch notebook blue disk remains unchanged.
