First, the elevator failure response method

When the elevator fails, the elevator power should be cut off first. In order to make the elevator re-run as soon as possible, the elevator administrator should report the fault situation to the professional maintenance personnel in a timely and detailed manner.

Second, simple fault diagnosis

Administrators can rule out some simple faults.

1. When the elevator door is not closed, check whether the switch setting position in the switch box is normal.

2. When the elevator door cannot be completely closed, check for any faults in the door sill.

3. Check if there is any obstacle in the elevator. For example, the debris prevents the door from closing, and the safety touch panel of the car door is forced to move.

3. When the passenger is locked in the car

1. Call the maintenance staff. The administrator should do his utmost to eliminate the passenger's nervousness; call the passengers until the maintenance personnel arrive at the scene; tell the passengers that the car is safe and do not try to escape the car by himself.

2. Never try to force the release of passengers.

Fourth, beware of accidents

1. When the power is off. Tell the passengers the actual situation of power outages, and advise passengers not to try to escape the car (the auxiliary lights in the car will automatically illuminate). 2. When a flood occurs. The elevator should be deactivated and action taken to block the flow of water into the elevator. Before the elevator is re-run, contact the elevator maintenance staff for inspection.

3. In the event of a fire. Direct all passengers to the elevator to a safe place. After confirming that there is no one in the car, turn off the power switch of the elevator. In the event of fire, no one other than the firefighters performing rescue missions may use the elevator to escape.

Five, the rescue method

When the elevator fails, the elevator maintenance department should be notified in time. Before the arrival of professional maintenance personnel, the rescued personnel are managed by the trained elevators, and the trapped passengers are released according to the following steps as needed.

1. Confirm the car position of the faulty elevator. When rescuing a trapped passenger, first make sure that you are safe. Confirm the car position from the cabin control panel or the car position indicator outside the hall. (However, in the event of a power outage, the car position indicator cannot be indicated. To confirm the car position, the hall door can be carefully opened with a special key, and the car position can be confirmed in the hoistway by the flashlight.)

2. The power is cut off. In order to prevent the car from suddenly moving and causing a dangerous accident during rescue, the total power supply of the elevator's equipment room should be cut off first.

3. On the floor where the car is located, use the special hall door key to carefully open the hall door to see if the difference between the height of the car floor and the floor is within 0.5 meters.

4. The car stops near the hall door and is above or below the floor no more than 0.5 meters. First open the hall door with the special hall door key, then use the manpower to open the car door on the car top, and assist the passenger to leave the car, and finally re-close the door.

5. When the car stops at the position of the landing door, the car should be moved to the approaching door, and then the passengers are taken out according to the above 4th step. The method of moving the car is as follows: (The personnel must be specially trained to perform this step.)

7. Management and use of elevator keys. Improper use of the elevator key may cause serious accidents in which the elevator door opener falls into the hoistway; the following procedures should be strictly observed when using the elevator. 1. The elevator must be inspected by the local labor bureau before it can be put into use.
