Chongqing Promotes LED Lighting in Ten Cities

In the first half of the year, the city promoted and applied 20,000 LED lamps. The relevant output value exceeds 2 billion yuan.

It is understood that Chongqing City was selected as the national “Ten City Wanxie” semiconductor lighting application project implementation city in 2009. By 2013, the state allocated a total of 25.75 million yuan, and city-level funding was 15.46 million yuan. During this period, Chongqing LED semiconductor lighting research and development and The demonstration has made great progress.

In addition, in order to cooperate with Chongqing City's “Ten Thousands Cities and Towns” second phase pilot demonstration work, the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission launched the Chongqing Semiconductor Lighting Industry Science and Technology Demonstration Support Project at an appropriate time and established an LED technology support demonstration base in Beibei District. At present, LED industry clusters in Beibei District have been initially formed. It is expected that the output value of the LED industry will reach 1.6 billion yuan this year.
