Semtech CorporaTIon introduces its next-generation LoRa devices and radio frequency (RF) technology (LoRa technology) chipsets, and advanced technologies in these new products enable customers to develop more innovative low-power wide area network (LPWAN) application paradigms. By meeting the demands of cost-effective and reliable sensor-to-cloud connectivity for any type of wireless RF environment, the new features and higher performance of the new LoRa chipset will significantly improve the performance and functionality of Internet of Things (IoT) sensor applications to meet Ultra-low power, smaller size and long-distance wireless connectivity, and shorten the development cycle of the final product.
The new generation of LoRa RF technology increases Semtech's industry-leading link budget by 20% while reducing receiver current (4.5 mA) by 50% and offers a high power +22 dBm option.
