At the sending end, the captured one color image is decomposed into three primary color image signals, and then the three primary color signals are combined to a channel to the receiving end, and the received three primary color image signals are restored to the original color at the receiving end image.

The color separation optical system and three camera tubes can decompose a color image to be transmitted into three primary color images of red, green, and blue, thereby obtaining three primary color signal voltages R, G, and B.
The dichroic optical system includes an objective lens, a dichroic prism, a mirror, and so on. The camera principle of the three camera tubes is exactly the same as that of the black and white camera. They are responsible for capturing the three primary color signals of red, green and blue respectively.
