March 2 news, according to technology website DigiTimes reported, sources from the upstream supply chain revealed that Apple will release the iPad 3 tablet PC on March 7 due to the lack of high-resolution display supply, or may be temporarily unable to Normal production. It is reported that the new iPad display size is still 9.7 inches, with a resolution of 2048X1536 pixels. Although Apple chose Sharp, LG, and Samsung as suppliers for the iPad 3 display, sources said that the three vendors are currently unable to supply Apple with sufficient displays.
The report said that in the last month of the first quarter, the iPad 2 will still be the main force in the tablet market, and the iPad 3 will not ship until the second quarter.
